Our Family Engagement series seeks to build relationships between AACMS and our parents, caregivers, and families through outreach, activities, education, and connection. We offer monthly meetings called Family Empowerment Hours that can be attended in-person or on Zoom. These meetings foster communication and offer education and discussion from school personnel and outside experts on various topics. We also offer several activities throughout the year for the entire family to strengthen the relationship between AACMS and our families and offer fun, family-friendly opportunities outside the classroom.
Family Engagement Series 2026-27
The AACMS Family Empowerment Hour Series is a collaborative time for families to listen to a short presentation on the monthly topic from a local community partner or trained school staff then engage in conversation with other parents and caregivers in a supportive environment.
